Aside from being a rockstar groomer, Lori is a mom of two sweet toddlers. She has been in the grooming industry since 2011 and is still digging it every day! Lori has always had an attention to detail so expect nothing but great quality with her work! Once competition season comes up, plan to see her doing her thing on stage to keep bettering herself for you and your pup!

Tracy Downing has been obsessed with dogs since she first fell in love with Snoopy as a little girl. Growing up in the Midwest, she spent much of her time outdoors playing with animals and knew she wanted a career in the Pet Industry from a young age. She began her career studying under her mother Karen, learning to groom a variety of Spaniels and Sporting breeds. When she moved to California she discovered her next greatest passion, teaching. In 2009 she became the regional Grooming Academy Instructor for PetSmart and led training and certification courses for all southern California. As an AKC Master Groomer, Tracy’s places great emphasis on education and continued learning in her salon. She founded Cali Pets in 2017 with a mission to change the grooming industry. By fostering a culture of professionalism and higher education among the team, stylists are encouraged to pursue their passions, hone their skills, and unleash their creativity. When Tracy is not at Cali Pets, she and husband Josh Downing can be found at home cooking for friends and family or camping with their Standard Poodles Chewbacca and Reese, and Labrador Retriever Rolo.
