This add-on treatment will leave your pet's coat feeling fresh and renewed. After washing your dog in our house EQyss shampoo, a botanical moisture mask will be applied and massaged into the coat to help release the undercoat. After rinsing, a leave in de-shed conditioning treatment will be applied to the coat and blown out. This process will release the shedding coat. Your dog will then receive a 15–30-minute brush-out session to remove the loose coat. Shedding breeds (dogs with fur, as opposed to hair) have a 6-week cycle shed cycle and keeping them on a regular grooming schedule will help to minimize shedding in the home.
For the health and safety of the other pets in our salon, any pet found to have fleas must have a flea bath. Your pet will be assessed for fleas upon check in. We use a gentle product containing the organic active ingredient Neem, that will kill fleas on contact without harming your pet’s skin.
A Blueberry Facial is an excellent way of getting rid of tear stains and enhancing the coat's color naturally while providing a calming, aromatherapeutic experience for your dog. Even though most parents think it is only appropriate for white hair, the truth is that this product is great for all colors and coats.
The Conditioning Mask will revitalize your pet's coat, leaving it hydrated and with a natural shine. It features collagen, argan, sesame, and coconut oils. These ingredients boost moisture and reduce frizz.
This deep conditioning, exfoliating scrub leaves pets’ skin and coat refreshed. This product cleans deeper than most shampoos, allowing your pet to stay fresher longer. This product is suitable for all pets, including those with skin issues.
Charcoal works to remove environmental debris that can lead to allergies, itchy skin, and hair loss. This product is perfect for dogs who are especially dirty or oily.

Your dog’s nails will be clipped and filed as short as possible without disturbing the “quick”, the vein inside the nail. Routine filing will help the quick recede, resulting in shorter nails over time.
Ear cleaning includes a flush with a professional quality ear cleaner and a gentle removal of debris using cotton swabs. A medicated flush can be used for dogs with ear infections. This should be provided by your veterinarian.
A special powder is used to grip the hair so it can be easily pulled with minimal discomfort. Your dog’s ears are then flushed with ear cleaner and wiped with cotton swabs to remove debris and residual powder. ear hair removal is necessary in breeds that grow ear hair. Keeping the Ear canal free of hair ensures proper air flow to the inner ear and prevents infection. However, the ear hair should not be plucked if there is an active ear infection, as this will make the infection worse because it will open the follicles and allow the infection to spread.
Gentle pressure is applied to the exterior portion of the anal glands. Please see your veterinarian for anal glands that are impacted or if you prefer to have them expressed internally.
An enzymatic toothpaste specifically formulated for dogs is gently brushed onto the outside of your dog’s teeth using a soft toothbrush. This is followed by an enzymatic spray inside the mouth to freshen breath and eliminate bacteria. Teeth brushing is important to prevent dental disease and decay. In addition to teeth brushing, we offer quarterly anesthesia-free dental cleanings.

Paw pad and sanitary shave
Keeping the paws pads and sanitary area (lower tummy and private parts) clear of hair will improve the hygiene of your pet. The only place your dog can sweat is from their paw pads, so keeping this area free of hair will also help them regulate their body temperature.

Does your dog need a little more than just a paw pad shave? With the pet pawdicure, we will file your dog’s nails, shave their paw pads, scissor the top of their feet, and moisturize their paw pads with a skin re-building cream made by EQyss.
