All haircut services include Eqyss pet products. These products are local, made in Carlsbad, contain no soap or harsh ingredients, cruelty free, biodegradable, and non-toxic ingredients. Your pet professional will assess your pet to find the best product for your pet’s hair/fur and skin type.  The ears will be cleaned (hair removed if needed), nails trimmed and filed, teeth brushed, gentle expression of the anal glands and 15 minutes of brush time.  The haircut session is based on how you choose to keep your pet styled I. E. longer, hand scissor trims and specialty haircuts will cost more than a shorter Clippered trim. Longer styles will require more frequent visits to the salon & regular brushing at home. Shorter styles will be easier and less expensive to maintain. Your Pet Stylist can help you choose a haircut that is right for you, your pet & your budget. Ideally, dogs should be groomed every 4 to 6 weeks depending on the style you choose for your pet. Shedding breeds (dogs with fur) have a 6-week cycle keeping them on a regular schedule will help to maintain the shedding cycle. Hypo allergenic breeds and non-shedding breeds (dogs with hair) will mat if not maintained on a regular schedule. SHORTER STYLES Leave hair/fur from 1/2″ & can be as short as 1/16″. This may appear shorter on light colored dogs or thinner coats.
